General Meeting

The First AGM is for the benefit of the Owners. It is a critical opportunity for Owners to articulate their preferences and vision of the future and to adopt a budget that reflects those preferences and vision.

Stratas establish a requirement for Quorum to prevent "tyranny of the minority". However, this must be balanced with the requirement to have genuine meetings.

The proper conduct of Annual General Meetings is critical to supporting a robust and resilient strata community. The Annual General Meeting is the opportunity for collective decision making and community building.
