ABOUT
Taya Arnold is a lawyer with Morley Hanson Law Corporation, practicing in the areas of real estate, estate planning, and estate administration. Prior to joining Morley Hanson, she founded and ran her own practice for four years, helping clients navigate property transactions, wills and estates. She takes the time to make sure clients understand their options and what's at stake, whether the question is a simple or complicated one.
Taya studied law at Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law in Halifax, after completing her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Geography at the University of Regina. She chose Dalhousie specifically for its environmental law program, earned a certificate in environmental law along the way, and fully intended to put it to use.
While her professional focus has shifted from saving the trees to saving real estate deals, her appreciation for the outdoors hasn't gone anywhere. When she's not at the office, Taya can usually be found hiking, camping, or otherwise making the most of the West Coast. Having survived both Prairie winters and East Coast ones, she is a firm believer that the best thing about Victoria is being able to go outside in January.
Outside her practice, Taya serves as a director of the Victoria charity Wear 2 Start and sits on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association's Young Lawyers section.
