ABOUT
Isabella has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, and during her studies she focused on small town community development and the changes/pressures that arise in an era of rapid urbanization.
Prior to working at Morley Hanson, Isabella worked for Taya at Cook and View Law where the daily “to do” list was dynamic and promised everyday to be different then that last. Working at Cook and View Law allowed her to develop her knowledge about estate planning and real estate law while feeding her desire to learn.
Isabella never thought she would be interested in law. Since high school, her mother told her she should explore the legal profession and Isabella swore that she would “never, ever”; and then something clicked. She had always loved hearing the life stories of the people around her and through this realized that so many of life’s major transitions make people feel overwhelmed, anxious and uneasy. She realized that having a caring and compassionate legal team to lead through these times of unease, could be the best means to help.
When not in the office, Isabella has been known to be in the kitchen trialing recipes, researching tide pools and various seaweeds, or enjoying the beautiful hiking trails. Her biggest challenge when out on the trails is remembering to bring maps! So, if you are out hiking in the greater Victoria area and someone stumbles back on to the trail from a section of forest that is clearly not a trail, the chances are it’s Isabella.
